Medicaid in Pennsylvania
In Pennsylvania, Medicaid behavioral health benefits are managed separately from physical health benefits. That means the name on your medical insurance card is only part of the picture.
Community Care Behavioral Health, also called Community Care or CCBH, manages those benefits for Berks County and the North Central region, including Schuylkill County. CFSS participates in its contracted areas.
Pennsylvania Medicaid behavioral health benefits are managed separately from physical health benefits. Your county, exact plan, and requested service matter when checking coverage. Acceptance of a Medicaid product does not establish acceptance of a similarly named commercial plan.
